Here is the first episode of the relatively short anime series based off a Dragon Quest based manga of the same name. Dai no Daibōken is actually the second Dragon Quest anime series, with Dragon Warrior: Legend of the Hero Abel predating it by two years.
This series was never officially dubbed into English and was only shown on the Tokyo Broadcasting System from October 17, 1991-September 24, 1992. Because of Akira Toriyama's (creator of the Dragon Ball franchise) involvement in the character design in the Dragon Quest series, he also worked on this anime as a producer.
